Habitat for Humanity is committed to making sure that all people have a simple, decent and affordable place to live. Recipients of Habitat homes are required to provide "sweat-equity" - working alongside other community volunteers to build their home. S.D. Deacon employees were excited to volunteer at two Habitat for Humanity houses in the fall of 2007. For two days, our crews rolled up their sleeves to hang doors, plant bushes, spread bark dust and other finishing touches on two new Habitat homes.
